Laura F. Teisch, MD, F.A.A.P.
Board Certified Pediatrician
Dr. Laura F. Teisch received her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida (class of 2011) and her Doctor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine (class of 2016). Dr. Teisch did her residency at the University of Nevada Las Vegas School of Medicine.
Upon finishing her residency training here in Las Vegas, Dr. Teisch joined St. Rose Pediatrics in November 2019. Her medical interests include family centered care, fostering lifelong relationships with her patients and families, practicing evidence based medicine, and working with her families and patients to fully understand their health needs by working collaboratively to develop a plan to achieve optimal growth, health, and development for every child that steps foot into her exam rooms.
Dr. Teisch also worked at Sunrise Children’s Hospital as a Pediatric Hospitalist from 2019-2022. Dr. Teisch is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and also currently serves as an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics for the Medical School at Touro University.
Dr. Teisch stays up to date with current pediatric guidelines and evidence based medicine by teaching third and fourth year medical students throughout their pediatric rotations.
Over the years, Dr. Teisch has also had a heavy interest in medical research. She has published over 20 research articles in top medical journals and presented her research in over 20 national conferences.

Dr. Teisch currently sits as an active member of the Board of Directors of Midbar Kodesh Temple in Henderson, Nevada and she is also serving as a current committee member for the upcoming 2025 United Women’s Philanthropy Luncheon in conjunction with Jewish Nevada.
Outside of work and volunteering, Dr. Teisch enjoys spending time with her husband, their son and daughter, and the remainder of her big family including her parents, her siblings, and all of her nieces and nephews.
Her hobbies include exercising, traveling, and participating in outdoor activities, especially hiking. In her spare time, she loves to combine her passion for travel and hiking. In her adventures, she has been fortunate enough to see the world atop of many summits including Mt. Kilimanjaro (Tanzania), Everest Base Camp (Nepal), Tongariro Alpine Crossing and the Grand Traverse (New Zealand), the Four Peaks (Iceland), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and more! Now that Dr. Teisch and her husband have two children, they look forward to taking them on their future international adventures.
